First Garden Wedding of 2017!

What an absolutely gorgeous day for an outdoor wedding!

Their unity ceremony was a love lock that was locked onto a Mr. and Mrs. board.  The lock does not have a key and will never be removed from this board.  Love locks have been popular in Europe for years and I love the idea of adding it to your wedding ceremony.

The "Piano Man" send-off was a fitting end to a perfect evening!

The "Piano Man" send-off was a fitting end to a perfect evening!

The ballroom was beautiful with purple downlighting, crystals draping the wall behind the head table and the ceiling.  The centerpieces were beautiful and really popped under the pin lighting.

Congratulations to Lauren and Matt!  Many, many years of happiness to you both.

Love and Laughter = Happily Ever After!

I have always believed that the couples who have fun together and laugh a lot are the couples that will make it in the marriage game.  Alexa and Justin, if that's true, will be together forever!  What a great couple!  We had such a good time at their planning meetings, and their wedding was such a reflection of their personalities and the fun they have together!
They met because of their mutual interest in music, and that element was used through their celebration from the guitar pics on the tables to the beautiful cake wrapped in music.
Here are some photos of their evening:

Really cute little table numbers!!  With music backgrounds!

Beautiful floral centerpieces by House of Fabian on half of the tables.

A small head table for the bride and groom and their Maid of Honor and Best Man worked out beautifully!

Great looking cake from Chesterton Cake Shoppe!  The flowers were actually gum paste--so pretty!

Soooo cute!  A real guitar case for their "card box"  Lexa really got her crafty on for this wedding!!  :)

Love you guys!  Laugh your way through life--it's so much more fun that way!  All the best!

Black and White and Pink All Over

Jodie and Kevin were married in the garden today!  The bridesmaids wore black and they had lots of pink roses and stargazer lilies as accents.

I LOVE the way that the crystal globes were used.  There were pink votive cups in each globe and the largest had a small bouquet of stargazers.  It looked so pretty!  The personalized table numbers were made in house and added a little bit of sparkle and glam on the tables.

The room takes on a completely different look when we use the black chair covers and black floor length linens.  It's really striking.  The hot pink sash really pops against the black and the crystal buckle adds some bling!

Jodie really wanted to do something special for her mom.  She added a part to the ceremony where they gave flower bouquets to both of their mothers.

The bride's parents will be celebrating their 46th wedding anniversary in a couple of days.  So Jodie planned a speech for them and then they danced to their wedding song.  "Can't Help Falling in Love with You."  It was a very touching moment.
