The Williamsons

It's amazing how quickly time passes!  I can't believe that it's been four months since my last blog post.  We have had so many beautiful weddings in that time frame!  I hate that I haven't shared them.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of being the coordinator for Cassie and Dan.  We hit it off right from the start!  Our planning meetings were full of stories and laughter.  I feel like I really got to know them during the planning process, and them me.

Cassie told me that she kept being asked if she was nervous leading up to the day of the wedding.  And her response was no because she fully trusted all of us to get everything done.  And THAT, is always our ultimate goal here.  We want your wedding to be as stress free as possible.  Let us worry about all the little details while you and your guests have a great time!

These flowers on the chairs were gorgeous during the ceremony and then used as centerpieces at the reception! They were already in a vase of water, so we took them off and moved them inside. I love dual purpose flowers!

Congratulations to The Williamsons! #happilyeverwilliamson

Baby it's cold outside

I have had the pleasure of taking part in many weddings in my 3 years at Aberdeen Manor, but Brittany and Brent are the first couple that I have known personally. It has been such an honor to be a part of their special day.

Brittany was escorted down the aisle by both her father and grandfather. I thought that was SO sweet!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Crider!!!

Falling in Love

It sure felt like fall today with the cooler weather and even a little rain. Michele and Brad made a good choice on having their ceremony in the chapel because it started to rain right around 5pm.

Brad and Michele wrote their own vows and they were some of the sweetest words that I have heard in a wedding ceremony, very deep and truly heartfelt.

These two planned their wedding while living in California.  The first time we spoke, I had them get on the webcams and see the ballroom set up for that evening's wedding.  We have had many, many phone conferences, emails and meetings.  I love their mix of fall colors and decor.

Michele and Brad-

It was such a pleasure planning this day with you!  I have enjoyed all of our talks and hope that they helped make your planning easier.  I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

Mr. & Mrs. Sean Guy

Katie (Lawson) Guy grew up playing on the grounds of the Aberdeen community.  Once upon a time, her grandparents owned all the land that the golf course, Aberdeen Manor & the housing community resides on.  The Inn at Aberdeen was the house her father grew up in.  Having her wedding at Aberdeen Manor was especially special for that reason.  After marrying at Valparaiso University's chapel, the couple took some pictures before arriving at the Manor set just as they imagined...lots of candlelight, beautiful floral arrangements, a few specialty linens in champagne color, napkins in navy and touches of rose gold throughout the room.  It was breathtaking.

Adam & Amanda Bruns!

The Banashaks!

Megan and Brandon were married tonight and celebrated their reception with us!  The bridesmaids wore black and they had touches of silver sparkle and Tiffany blue.

The white hydrangeas really popped with the pin lighting.

I love seeing a variety of centerpieces.  It makes the room look so interesting.  The silver sparkle runners really added a lot to the tables as well.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!
