Aberdeen Bride

A "personal" favorite... Mr. & Mrs. Mike Gapinski

I love my career! I think I have one of the best in the wedding business (--and work for the best in the area). Getting to help others plan their wedding brings me much joy--but then there's some that are even MORE fun...and that's when I get to assist friends! This time it was personal. Mike & Tracy had a Friday afternoon ceremony at Calvary Church in Valpo with their reception immediately following at Aberdeen Manor Ballroom. The room was filled will lots of family & friends who were all thrilled for the newlyweds, and the joining of two wonderful families. Look at how pretty the room looked with the black and white decor and soft touches of pink details...

Gaby & Jason Williams

Can you say stunning?? There were so many little details that made Gaby and Jason's wedding so beautiful. From the gorgeous floral wreaths woven into our chandeliers, to the candle filled head table, there wasn't one inch of the ballroom that didn't blow me away! I was so happy to be a part of this day. Take a look!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Mercado

Just look for yourself...these two are so in love! You can sense it in their eyes as they look at each other. I enjoyed every meeting that we had together; watching how they respected each others thoughts and opinions, and coming to agreement on what they wanted their wedding reception to look like. And I'd say it was stunning-- just like the bride! Okay, and the groom looked pretty handsome too. Their (very well done) choreographed "first dance" as husband and wife was a joy to watch as they graced the floor. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Mercado! This post is waaaay over due! The lovely couple was married back in February. My apologies for the delay

Baby it's cold outside

I have had the pleasure of taking part in many weddings in my 3 years at Aberdeen Manor, but Brittany and Brent are the first couple that I have known personally. It has been such an honor to be a part of their special day.

Brittany was escorted down the aisle by both her father and grandfather. I thought that was SO sweet!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Crider!!!

November & December Newlyweds!

November was once again a busy month around here...and things didn't slow down in December either! Here are some pictures of the weddings that I had the pleasure of coordinating in November and December. I hope you enjoy!

Love and Laughter = Happily Ever After!

I have always believed that the couples who have fun together and laugh a lot are the couples that will make it in the marriage game.  Alexa and Justin, if that's true, will be together forever!  What a great couple!  We had such a good time at their planning meetings, and their wedding was such a reflection of their personalities and the fun they have together!
They met because of their mutual interest in music, and that element was used through their celebration from the guitar pics on the tables to the beautiful cake wrapped in music.
Here are some photos of their evening:

Really cute little table numbers!!  With music backgrounds!

Beautiful floral centerpieces by House of Fabian on half of the tables.

A small head table for the bride and groom and their Maid of Honor and Best Man worked out beautifully!

Great looking cake from Chesterton Cake Shoppe!  The flowers were actually gum paste--so pretty!

Soooo cute!  A real guitar case for their "card box"  Lexa really got her crafty on for this wedding!!  :)

Love you guys!  Laugh your way through life--it's so much more fun that way!  All the best!

Best Day Ever!

The new Mr. and Mrs. Leazenby tied the knot!  The ceremony was held in the chapel with the reception following in the ballroom.  The colors were navy and gold with touches of pale pink in the flowers.

I loved the twist on the lanterns with the flowers coming out.  It was really unique and pretty.

It was clear that Danielle and Branton's faith is very important to them.  They had a traditional guest book but also had their guests highlight their favorite bible verses and leave a post it message next to it.

Congratulations you two!

Picture Book Perfect!

Today's wedding was absolutely beautiful!  The new Mr. & Mrs. Goodman chose ivory, gold and blush pink as their colors.  The bridesmaids for lovely lace light pink dresses and the groom & groomsmen wore classic black tuxes.  And the bride?  Well, see for yourself!  She looked gorgeous in her lace & tulle...

A beautiful ivory, pink, pewter and gold wedding!

Meet the newlyweds, Mr. & Mrs. Leitelt
